REFERENCE is the first stop for information of all kinds. Whether you are conducting research or just looking for an interesting nonfiction read, the Reference staff can assist. Books, the Internet, database programs, DVD products, and magazines are all available to help library customers find the answers to their questions. Skilled staff members are available to assist customers with their diverse information needs.

Tours/Outreach—Tours of the Daviess County Public Library are available to school and community groups. We will customize a tour for your group. You may choose a tour of the entire library or individual departments. Will also visit classrooms, groups, organizations to give demonstration of databases and online catalog.

the Civil War.
