ILL is a method of sharing resources among libraries to supplement local collections.
Library materials of all types may be requested. Bestsellers, reference books, entire issues of magazines or newspapers, and rare books are generally NOT available.
Average delivery time is two weeks.
The DCPL does not charge for postage, but fees charged by the lending library are passed on to you. Indicate the maximum amount you are willing to pay.
The person making the request is responsible for the material received and will be billed for replacement cost if the material is lost or damaged.

Warning Concerning Copyright Restrictions
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs, the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyright material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research."
