More Info: http://www.freegalmusic.com/users/sndlogin What is FREEGAL? “Freegal” is a portmanteau word for “free and legal.” This subscription service gives Daviess County Library cardholders access to Free & Legal Music through the web site. You can now download three free Sony Music selections each week through Freegal, a new online music database offered by Daviess County Public Library. You don’t have to return the downloads – the songs are yours until you delete them. All you need is a library card from Daviess County Public Library. The music is in MP3 format and will work on any computer (Mac or PC) and on any MP3 player, including iPods, and can be loaded into iTunes. Freegal limits customers to three free downloads per week. Search by artist name or genre. Click on “See all genres” to view dozens of categories. Freegal updates its catalog with new additions continually. You can listen to a sample clip before downloading and keep track of your downloads on Freegal’s Web page. Freegal limits use of the downloads to personal, non-commercial use.
