    Write ’til Midnight

November is known as National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo, when writers attempt to create 50,000 words in 30 days. To celebrate, the Daviess County Public Library and the Owensboro Writers Group are hosting “Write ’til Midnight”, a 9-hour writing marathon on Saturday, November 23rd starting at 3 p.m.

Come from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sign in at the Public Lounge. Bring your own laptop, or check out a Library netbook or laptop (quantities limited, first-come, first-serve). Find the perfect spot, relax, and write in the inspiring company of fellow writers. Refuel with complimentary refreshments throughout the night, and stay until midnight if you’d like.

Maybe you’ve never written before. Maybe you need to finish that novel or short story. Maybe you want to write a script for the Unscripted 3: An Indie Film School Xperience scriptwriting contest, or maybe you just want to write anecdotes from your family history to pass down to future generations. Whatever you’re writing and whatever your experience or skill level, there will never be a better time to write, write, write!
