The amount of data abstracted divides the database into three time periods: 1842-1919, 1920-1989 and 1990 to present. The entries for the years of 1842-1919 and 1990 to the present are abstracts of all of the vital data given in the original articles(s). Entries for 1920-1980 are an abbreviated abstract. Some years prior to 1880 are missing.
