Corey Wagner is a Library Technical Assistant in the Public Services Department on the second floor. Corey has worked at the library for over 5 ½ years now. When he isn’t assisting customers in the stacks, Corey spends a lot of his time gathering and delivering material to the community. Some of his favorite fiction books are by Bret Easton Ellis (American Psycho, Less Than Zero, Lunar Park), however, he primarily reads a lot of non-fiction and graphic novels. Homicide by David Simon is one of his favorite non-fiction books and Grant Morrison is his favorite comic book writer.
Outside of the library Corey has a large interest in music, movies, and television. His favorite bands are King Crimson and Porcupine Tree and his favorite movie is (probably) 2001: A Space Odyssey. He watches a wide range of (too many) television shows and some of his favorites include The Wire, Mad Men, Mystery Science Theater 3000, and several cartoons. Some of his other interests include: bronzing porcelain birds, drinking coffee, magnets (just magnets), spending way too much time on the internet, thinking tiger statues into existence, intentionally pronouncing words wrong, and rascals.
