From Monday, Dec. 9, 2013 thru Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013 library users who wish to donate non-perishable food items may have $1 in fines waived for each food item donated, and up to a maximum of $10 per library card holder. This is for Fines Only – lost or damaged items are not included.
Food donations will be given to the HELP Office of Owensboro.
Acceptable food donations include any non-perishable canned or packaged foods. Perishable items or anything requiring refrigeration cannot be accepted.
